In attendance: T. Wright Dickinson, Chair; Joe Janosec, Vice Chair; Sally Anderson, Deputy Clerk.

Pledge/Moment of Silence

General

• Joe Janosec was named Chair for the year 2000 with Marianna Raftopoulos as Vice Chair.

Clerk and Recorder

• Beverly Johnson presented a liquor license renewal for the Eagle Watch Inn which was approved.
• An oil and gas lease was approved with Energy Investments, Inc.

Emergency Management

• Clyde Anderson updated the Board of County Commissioners on the Y2K events.

Administration

• Letter regarding courthouse cleanliness was presented from concerned employees.
• Dickinson so moved to approve Resolution 2000 - 7 whereby vacation/comp/sick time is taken off at the rate accrued. Janosec seconded: carried 2-0.

Planning

• Judy Orton present.
• Dickinson so moved to accept the Sand Springs Subdivision preliminary plat. Janosec seconded: carried 2-0.

Media Briefing

• The Board of County Commissioners concluded the Media Briefing time will be after lunch on each commissioners meeting.

BLM

• John Husband present to discuss the fire management plan.
